What you'll do:
As a Legal and Compliance Counsel, your role will be crucial in providing comprehensive legal support across the organisation. You will review a variety of contracts, provide expert advice on corporate matters, and ensure strict compliance with medical industry standards. Your ability to interact effectively with healthcare providers and government regulators will be vital in this role. Additionally, you will oversee compliance reporting and due diligence processes for engaging healthcare providers. Your expertise will also be essential in managing Asia's compliance issues, particularly in relation to AML, anti-competition, and anti-trust laws.
- Review all contracts including distributor agreements and master service agreements
- Offer legal support and advice on various corporate matters
- Interact with healthcare providers and government regulators, ensuring compliance with medical industry standards
- Ensure adherence to industry-specific requirements at medical events
- Oversee compliance reporting and due diligence for engaging health care providers
- Manage Asia’s compliance issues ensuring adherence to AML, anti-competition, and anti-trust laws
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for the Legal and Compliance Counsel role brings a wealth of experience from the pharmaceutical or medical device industry. With 4-6 years PQE under your belt, you possess strong knowledge of AML, anti-competition, and anti-trust laws. Your background in compliance within the medical industry sets you apart from others. Your excellent interpersonal skills enable you to interact effectively with healthcare providers and government regulators. Furthermore, your meticulous attention to detail ensures that no contract clause goes unchecked.
- Proven experience as a Legal and Compliance Counsel within the pharmaceutical or medical device industry is highly desirable
- 4-6 years post qualification experience (PQE)
- Strong knowledge of AML, anti-competition, and anti-trust laws
- Experience in compliance within the medical industry
- Ability to interact effectively with healthcare providers and government regulators
- Excellent contract reviewing skills
