Job Description
1. As an Infra Tech Support Practitioner, you will be responsible for providing ongoing technical support and maintenance of production and development
systems and software products.
2. This includes both remote and onsite support, as well as configuring services running on various platforms.
3. Provide hardware/software support and implement technology at the operating system-level across all server and network areas.
4. Responsible for troubleshooting at the L1 and L2/ basic and intermediate level.
5. Perform independently and become an SME.
6. Participate and contribute to team discussions, as well as provide solutions to work-related problems.
7. Advanced proficiency in IT Infrastructure Operations is required.
8. Server Architectures, Server Operating Systems, and Infrastructure Event Management with Advanced proficiency are recommended.
9. Develop innovative solutions to enhance system performance and reliability.
10. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement new technologies.
11. Conduct regular system audits to identify areas for improvement.
12. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in IT infrastructure.
13. Provide training and support to end-users as needed
Mandatory skills
1. Implement, administer, and troubleshoot RHEL systems.
2. Administer and troubleshoot container technologies ( OpenShift)
3. Keeping OS, databases, and software updates current across all servers.
4. Maintain operational & configuration document up to date.
5. Perform periodic performance reporting.
6. Perform disaster recovery operations when required.
7. Troubleshooting, diagnosing, and resolving system issues.
8. Review security vulnerability report and remediate.
9. Ability to quickly learn new or unfamiliar technology and products using documentation and internet resources.
10. A self-starter able to work independently but comfortable working in a team environment.
11. Good analytical and problem-solving skills. o Support and administer system in line with IT security policy.
12. Automation & database skillset will be an advantage
