Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of IT systems and infrastructure, including servers, networks, and hardware.
- Ensure the availability and reliability of IT systems, minimizing downtime and addressing any technical issues promptly.
- Manage IT assets and inventory, including procurement, deployment, and lifecycle management.
- Provide technical support and guidance to end-users, resolving hardware, software, and network issues efficiently.
- Maintain a helpdesk system to track and manage IT support requests and ensure timely resolution.
- Train and support staff on IT-related issues and best practices.
- Lead and manage IT projects from initiation to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.
- Coordinate with other departments to gather requirements and ensure successful implementation of IT solutions.
- Monitor project progress, manage risks, and address any issues that arise during the project lifecycle.
- Oversee data management practices, including data backup, recovery, and storage solutions.
- Ensure regular backups are performed and test recovery procedures to guarantee data integrity and availability.
- Implement and manage data archiving and retention policies.
Qualifications
- Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., ITIL, PMP, CompTIA) are a plus.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT management or a similar role, with a comprehensive understanding of IT infrastructure and support.
- Strong technical expertise in IT systems, networks, and security.
- Proven leadership and team management abilities.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and IT management software.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment
