Roles and Responsibilities:
- Quality Control Oversight: Manage daily operations of the quality control program and perform regular internal and external audits to ensure compliance with established standards and procedures.
- Policy Development: Lead the creation, implementation, and enhancement of quality control policies, standards, and procedures, ensuring proper documentation and timely submission of records and reports to regulatory authorities.
- Data Management: Develop and maintain systems for monitoring and evaluating quality control data, providing comprehensive reports to senior management.
- Issue Resolution: Identify and investigate quality control issues, propose solutions to enhance the quality of services and processes, and implement risk mitigation strategies.
- Supplier Evaluation: Assess and monitor supplier performance through regular audits, ensuring adherence to the company's quality standards.
- Equipment Safety: Oversee equipment usage to ensure safety and responsibly discard any equipment that does not meet requirements.
- Team Leadership: Mentor and lead the Quality Assurance team, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and quality excellence within the company.
- External Representation: Represent the company in quality-related discussions with external stakeholders, including clients and regulatory bodies.
- Feedback and Incident Management: Manage feedback, complaints, and investigate incidents or accidents.
- Government Liaison: Collaborate with ESG and other relevant government entities on grant applications and claims.
- Additional Duties: Address any other QA/QC matters as requested by management.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Quality Control or a relevant field (e.g., Engineering, Manufacturing).
- Experience: At least 5 years of professional experience in a quality control or Quality Assurance role.
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of local and international quality control methodologies and best practices, including ISO management systems and relevant frameworks (e.g., ISO 45001, ISO 14001, ISO 20121, ISO 9001, bizSAFE).
- Skills:
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Strong leadership, supervision, and problem-solving abilities.
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to multitask, work independently, and collaborate effectively in teams.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Certifications: QEHS internal auditor certification is advantageous.
