Senior Project Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Technical Solutions: Address technical issues on site by applying engineering concepts, practices, and techniques to develop effective solutions.
• Work Planning: Plan work and resources with a focus on adhering to the work program to ensure timely progress.
• Coordination: Collaborate closely with subcontractors, supervisors, surveyors, laboratory personnel, and foremen to ensure effective teamwork.
• Reporting: Provide regular updates and relevant information to the Project Manager.
• Inspection Liaison: Communicate with consultants for daily site inspections.
• Problem Resolution: Resolve discrepancies and detailing issues in construction works with consultants and superiors.
• Policy Implementation: Implement relevant policies, procedures, and work instructions as defined in the Company's Quality System and QSHE requirements.
• Documentation: Assist the Project Manager in preparing daily, weekly, and monthly site reports for submission to the planning department.
• Pre-Work Documentation: Support the Project Manager in preparing documents before commencing work on site, including:
  • Method statements
  • Material submissions for approval from supervising consultants
  • Preliminary and shop drawings
  • Permits to work from internal departments such as Safety, QAQC, and Environmental
• Design Coordination: Liaise with the Design and Technical Department to obtain construction drawings.
• Approval Coordination: Work with the Approval Department to secure permits from local authorities or third parties.
• Meeting Attendance: Attend weekly progress meetings and prepare minutes.

Requirements:

• Education: Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering recognized by the PE Board.
• Experience: At least 8 years of experience in civil engineering or infrastructure projects, preferably with LTA Projects.
