Cafe Service Crew

Authentic Hr Pte. Ltd.

Work Location: Above One North MRT

Working days: 5.5 days per week

Working Hours: Monday to Friday: 8 am to 8 pm & Saturday: 9 am to 3 pm

Monthly Salary: S$2,200 to S$2,500


Key Responsibilities:


A. Customer Service

  1. Greet customers, take orders accurately and process them through the point-of-sale (POS) system.
  2. Answer customer queries regarding the menu, including dietary options and special requests.
  3. Handle customer complaints or issues with professionalism and a positive attitude.
  4. Ensure customers have a pleasant dining experience by checking in on them and addressing any additional needs.

B. Food & Beverage Preparation

  1. Prepare and serve a variety of food and beverage items, including coffee, tea, sandwiches, pastries, and other café offerings.
  2. Follow recipes and preparation techniques to maintain consistency and quality.
  3. Monitor inventory levels and restock items as needed.
  4. Maintain knowledge of current menu items, seasonal specialists, and promotions.

C. Cash Handling

  1. Process customer payments using cash, credit cards, or other forms of payment.
  2. Issue receipts and manage cash register operations, ensuring transaction accuracy.
  3. Balance cash drawers at the end of shifts.

D. Cleaning & Maintenance

  1. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café, including tables, counters, floors, and restrooms.
  2. Ensure all food preparation and service areas comply with health and safety standards.
  3. Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, and equipment as necessary.
  4. Take out the trash and ensure that the café is always presentable.

E. Team Collaboration

  1. Work closely with other team members to ensure efficient service and a positive work environment.
  2. Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and management to coordinate service.

F. Additional Duties

  1. Participate in inventory checks and order supplies as needed.
  2. Support promotional activities or events as required.
  3. Conduct regular team meetings and provide ongoing feedback.


Job Requirements:

  1. Previous working experience in a café, restaurant, or customer service role is preferred.
  2. Ability to stand for long periods and perform physically demanding tasks.
  3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  4. Ability to work in a team and handle high-pressure situations.
  5. Flexibility to work various shifts.
