Position Overview:
We are seeking a Technical Field Specialist to lead the demonstration and trial of our robotic mowers, battery-operated outdoor tools and equipment, drone technology, and agronomy solutions. This role is critical in showcasing our technology's value to customers and gathering valuable insights from the field. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting field trials, providing technical expertise, exploring new business opportunities, and maintaining strong customer relationships. This position offers a unique blend of hands-on technical work and strategic development within the Turf & Landscape industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct Robotic Mower, Battery Tool, and Drone Demonstrations: Plan, organize, and execute demonstrations of robotic mowers, battery-operated outdoor tools, and drones to potential clients, ensuring a high level of technical proficiency and client engagement.
- Lead Agronomy Trials: Design and conduct agronomy trials to assess the effectiveness of various products and solutions, ensuring accurate data collection and analysis.
- Customer Interaction and Feedback: Engage with customers during and after demos/trials to gather feedback, address concerns, and provide expert advice on our solutions.
- Operational Efficiency: Manage the logistics of scheduling and conducting field trials and demos, ensuring efficient use of time and resources.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain thorough documentation of all trials and demonstrations, including detailed reports on outcomes and client feedback.
- Explore New Business Opportunities: Identify and assess potential new business opportunities within the industry, focusing on innovation and technology adoption.
- Continuous Learning: Stay updated on the latest advancements in agronomy, robotics, battery-operated tools, drone technology, and green technology, and apply this knowledge to improve trial outcomes and client satisfaction.
- Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring they are fully supported throughout the demo/trial process.
Qualifications:
- A diploma/degree in Agronomy, Horticulture, Agricultural Engineering, Environment Science or a related field.
- Strong technical understanding of agronomy practices, robotics technology, battery-operated outdoor tools, and drone technology.
- Hands-on experience with field trials, demonstrations, or similar technical activities.
- Possess a valid Class 3 driving license in Singapore.
