Responsibilities:
- Determine optimal logistics operating solutions for customer
- To support implementation of projects handover, and on occasion, take the lead to develop and cross-functional implementation of value-added supply chain solutions
- Be responsible for sales lead, tenders and RFQ
- Maintain regular contact and develop new business with existing customers
- Lead the operation team in handling customers’ enquiries
- Consistently monitor our service standards and work with our operations team to drive suppliers and operation teams across all areas of responsibility ie lead times, complaints, escalation
- Work together with relevant stakeholders
- Perform any ad hoc duties / projects as assigned by the management
Requirements:
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the supply chain industry/3PL.
- Experience in Logistics & Supply Chain (preferred with Global and local sales in the Freight Forwarding industry)
- Possess strong hunter mentality, business sense and industry expertise
- Successful experience in identifying, qualifying and closing new businesses
- Achieve sales objective
