Job Description
Design & Development:
1. 2 - 4 years of experience required in design and develop PEGA BPM applications.
2. Create class structures, application frameworks, and data models.
3. Integrate business databases, legacy systems, and web services.
4. Implement configuration changes to software applications to meet functional and technical requirements.
Sprint Work:
1. Work on Sprint Backlog JIRAs, collaborate with Functional & Tech Lead for task clarification.
2. Assess and implement new features with high quality and test coverage.
3. Perform troubleshooting, fix coding bugs, and address application bottlenecks.
Collaboration & Coordination:
1. Coordinate with the project team to ensure the business architecture aligns with customer needs.
2. Actively collaborate with other development and product owners to solve challenges.
3. Showcase and review new changes with team members.
Best Practices & Maintenance:
1. Implement PEGA Best Practices during development.
2. Maintain, tune, and repair applications to ensure optimal performance.
3. Provide user support and perform preventive maintenance activities.
Innovation & Guidance:
1. Contribute innovative ideas for continuous improvement.
2. Evaluate, select, and formulate the best solutions for technical spike cards.
3. Provide guidance, peer review, and coaching to fellow team members.
4. Conduct feasibility studies and impact analysis for new features.
Support & Problem Solving:
1. Support the production environment and attend to escalated issues as needed.
2. Utilize strong analytical and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced, unstructured environment.
Qualifications:
1. Educational Background:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. (Preferred)
2. Certification:
At least a certified PEGA System Architect; preferably PEGA Senior System Architect).
Core Technology & Delivery Knowledge:
1. Experience with Pegasystems framework and full lifecycle PEGA implementations (PEGA 8.x).
2. Demonstrated understanding of PEGA Rules components, including Case Management, Job Schedulers, Queue Processors, Listeners, DX API, UI, Activities and
3. Flows, Declaratives, Decision, Validation, Reports, Correspondences.
4. Proficiency in Log Analysis and Performance Tuning.
5. Familiarity with Clipboard, Tracer, PLA, Alerts, AES.
