Responsibilities:
• Lead and manage fragrance production operations to meet production target and customer’s specifications
• Provide leadership and work directions to the production team in consistent with business objectives and company policies.
• Responsible for the production manpower planning, hiring, allocation and cost control.
• Ensure finished products that comply with customer specifications and company regulatory requirements and standards
• Investigate and find out the root cause with regards to customer complaints and internal rejects
• Work closely with Planning, Purchasing and Research & Development Departments to ensure efficient stocks level of raw materials to meet timely delivery of finished products
• Ensure that the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's) are current, accurate and team are trained in the relevant job according SOPs.
• Initiate reviews of production budget, processes, policies and procedures to improve efficiency, reduce cost and increase productivity whilst maintaining industry standards of quality and safety
• Monitor, study and improve on machine utilization, work & material, production cost performance and initiates cost reduction program
• Identify, plan and coordinate developmental training needs for staff to maintain standards of competencies.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Chemical Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field
- 5 years of experience in a Chemical manufacturing operation
- 3 or more years of experience in a Managerial or leadership role
- Demonstrated good organizational and interpersonal skills and able to communicate well with all levels of staff in the organization.
