Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end DLP projects, including planning, resource allocation, budgeting, scheduling, and risk management.
- Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
- Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and milestones, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Oversee the implementation and configuration of Proofpoint DLP solutions across the organization.
- Manage and optimize Proofpoint DLP rules, policies, and reporting mechanisms.
- Collaborate with IT and Security teams to integrate Proofpoint with existing systems and workflows.
- Ensure that all DLP projects adhere to relevant data protection regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with data loss and leakage.
- Work with compliance teams to ensure that DLP policies meet regulatory requirements.
- Experience in managing and implementation in offshore projects.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or related field. Master’s degree preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in information security with a focus on data loss prevention.
- Proven experience managing complex projects, preferably in a DLP or cybersecurity domain.
- Hands-on experience with Proofpoint DLP or other leading DLP technologies.
- Relevant certifications such as PMP, CISSP, CISM, or similar are highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of DLP concepts, strategies, and best practices.
- Proficient in Proofpoint DLP, including policy creation, incident management, and reporting.
- Excellent project management skills, including budgeting, scheduling, and risk management.
- Experience in cloud security and DLP implementation in cloud environments.
- Familiarity with other cybersecurity tools and platforms, such as SIEM, CASB, and endpoint protection.
- Experience working in regulated industries such as finance, healthcare, or government.
- Business level Mandarin speaking is required as the candidate will be required to liaise with Mandarin stakeholders, vendors and counterparts on daily basis.
