JOB DESCRIPTION


As a Business Development Executive for a Wedding, Fashion and Home Decor business, your primary responsibility will be to identity and pursue new business opportunities, establish strategic partnerships, and drive revenue growth. You will play a crucial role in expanding the company's client base, increasing brand visibility, and maximizing profitability. Your focus will be on the fashion and wedding industry, including bridal wear, formal attire, makeup, accessories, and related services.


Key Responsibilities:

1. Business Development:

  • Identity and evaluate new business opportunities within the fashion, wedding and home decor industry.
  • Conduct market research to identify potential clients and target markets.
  • Develop and implement strategies to penetrate new markets and expand the customer base.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key industry stakeholders, including vendors, suppliers, and event planners.
  • Actively network and attend industry events to generate leads and promote the business.

2. Sales and Revenue Generation:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets.
  • Manage the sales process from lead generation to closing deals.
  • Build relationships with prospective clients and provide excellent customer service.
  • Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements with clients to maximize profitability.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional campaigns and materials.

3. Relationship Management:

  • Build strong relationships with existing clients to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities within the client base.
  • Act as a point of contact for client inquiries, concerns, and feedback.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (design, production, and logistics) to meet client requirements and deadlines.


4. Market Analysis and Competitive Intelligence:

  • Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics.
  • Analyze market data and customer insights to identity growth opportunities.
  • Stay updated on the latest fashion and wedding industry trends, styles, and consumer preferences.
  • Provide regular reports and recommendations to management based on market analysis.

5. Business Strategy and Planning:

  • Contribute to the development of the business's overall strategic plan.
  • Provide input on pricing strategies, product offerings, and market positioning.
  • Identify areas for improvement and propose innovative ideas to drive growth.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of business development strategies and adjust as needed.
