Responsibilities:
Visual Merchandising:
- Create and update visual merchandising guidelines to maintain consistency across store presentations, aligning with the brand's image and standards.
- Develop and implement visual merchandising strategies to ensure a consistent and attractive store appearance across all locations.
- Ensure products are presented in a visually appealing and accessible manner, highlighting key items, promotions, and seasonal themes.
- Train store staff on visual merchandising standards, providing ongoing support and guidance to enhance their skills.
- Conduct regular inspections to maintain the condition of displays and fixtures, ensuring compliance with safety and accessibility standards.
Display & Inventory Management:
- Plan and execute store layouts, floor plans, and product displays to maximize space utilization and create an engaging shopping experience.
- Monitor in-store inventory levels to ensure displays are current and in good condition, coordinating with the team to refresh displays when necessary.
Collaboration with Retail & Marketing Teams:
- Work closely with sales and marketing teams to align visual merchandising efforts with promotional activities and sales goals.
- Assist in the design, planning, and execution of store events, promotions, and collaborations with partners to enhance the overall event experience.
- Coordinate with store managers to implement and adapt visual strategies based on store-specific needs and customer demographics.
Customer Experience:
- Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends, competitor strategies, and consumer preferences for informed merchandising decisions and strategies.
- Focus on improving the customer journey by creating visually stimulating and easy-to-navigate store environments.
- Ensure product information is clear and accessible, including price tags, displays, catalogues, and look books.
Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Visual/Retail Merchandising or a related field.
- Experience and proficiency in space planning and related skills are advantageous.
- Strong sense of aesthetics and creativity, with a keen eye for detail.
- Up-to-date with current and relevant industry trends.
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to communicate and collaborate effectively.
- Proactive and self-motivated, with a drive for continuous improvement.
