Sales Engineer | West

Job Description:

  • Execute sales activities and secure sales, including but not limited to spare parts, service agreements, ad-hoc projects, etc.
  • Daily monitoring and follow-up with operation and administrative sections on customer work orders.
  • Prepare customers’ quotations for repair, servicing, visual inspection, or load testing queries.
  • Maintain strong customer relationships through regular phone calls and meet-ups.
  • Ensure prompt payment collection by following up with customers' payment in line to payment terms.
  • Attend periodic meetings and produce weekly and monthly customer visits/sales reports.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by the Management from time to time.

Requirements:

  • Possess at least a NiTEC (electrical/mechanical preferred).
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of sales experience, particularly in after-sales within a B2B setting.
  • Excellent communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills.
  • Sales and result-driven, with a self-motivated mindset.
  • Company provides $900 transport allowance if candidate has own car with valid Class 3 driving license. Alternatively, Company can provide a van for sales visitation purpose.
  • Proficient in MS Office, including email, quotations, and Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience with material handling equipment, hydraulic lifting platforms, or dock levelers is an advantage.
  • Ability to communicate and write fluently in English is essential.
  • Additional qualifications in management or sales courses are beneficial.

Working Hours:

  • Five and a half days work week: Monday – Friday, 8 AM – 5 PM; Saturday, 8 AM – 12:30 PM.
  • Six-month probation period, or shorter depending on performance evaluation.
  • Upon confirmation as a full-time employee, every alternate Saturday will be off.

Salary and Benefits:

  • Annual bonus: 1-2 months.
  • Team sales target incentives every three months.
  • Product and sales skill training provided by the company.
