Responsibilities:
- Maintain and develop the menu together with the owner that reflects authentic Korean cuisine, while also meeting customer preferences and market trends
- Oversee the selection, training, and supervision of kitchen staff in coordination with the owner
- Manage the overall dining room operations
- Daily inventory ordering of food and drinks as well as monitoring the inventory levels to minimize waste and ensure freshness
- Collaborate with butchers for meat procurement, conduct regular quantity control checks to maintain optimal stock levels
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of culinary experience, preferably in a Korean BBQ/cuisine restaurant
- Comprehensive knowledge of Korean cuisine, including traditional cooking techniques, ingredients, and flavour profiles
- Experience working with butchers for meat procurement and management
- Candidates with experience as butcher or in meat preparation will be at an advantage
