· To carry out site supervision and inspection of the works including any off-site manufacturing as instructed by the consultant team so as to ensure that the works are constructed to require quality and accuracy.
· To monitor progress of the works on site and at any off-site manufacturing facilities and report delays immediately.
· To provide standing supervision as and when directed by the consultant team.
· To check services routes and contractor’s setting out and report any deviations to the consultant team.
· To verify reports and claims submitted by contractors.
· To record all variations as instructed or approved by consultant team.
· Candidate must be registered with BCA/IES as Resident Technical Officer.
· Candidate with QM and/or CONQUAS certification will also be preferred.
· At least 8 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
· Experience in precast, structural steel works is required,
· Required skills:-
. Supervision in Concrete construction, structural steel construction, precast construction, bored piles and driver/jacked-n piles. Supervision of architectural works, quality control.
· Project location: Tuas South Ave 5
· Project Type: Construction of 1 Block of 6-Storey Building and 1 Block of 3-Storey Building
· Contract duration: 24 months + 6 months extension (if required)
· Able to start work in October 2024
· Able to provide rapport to key stake-holders to facilitate progress of work.
· Able to exercise good judgement in the work to achieve balance in quality control and site progress.
