As a Cybersecurity Incident Responder, you will play a critical role in maintaining the security and stability of the Bank. You will be part of the Event Incident Management (EIM) team, responsible for 24x7 end-to-end monitoring and support of all infrastructure and application components crucial to the bank’s operations. Your primary objective will be to proactively identify, respond to, and resolve production incidents before they impact customer services.
Responsibilities:
- Utilize a suite of monitoring tools to identify potential production incidents, conducting in-depth research to mitigate issues before they escalate
- Act swiftly to alerts indicating potential production issues, and escalate to advanced support when necessary for resolution
- Perform detailed analysis using monitoring tools and reports to proactively identify and address potential risks before they impact production
- Manage routing, cycling, and implementation of splash pages within the environment
- Collaborate with Change Operations to support change implementations, identifying and addressing any potential issues arising from these changes
- Identify opportunities for additional monitoring and automation, and work closely with the Monitoring Architecture and Engineering teams to implement improvements
- Develop and refine procedures for troubleshooting and resolving issues, ensuring quick and efficient incident resolution
- Execute established procedures and escalate issues as appropriate to ensure minimal disruption to services
To succeed in this Cyber Security Incident Responder role, you will need to have at least 3 years of relevant experience.
Requirement:
- Strong teamwork skills with the ability to operate effectively in a multicultural environment
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and thrive in a complex, multi-location team setting
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with strong influencing, facilitation, and collaboration abilities
- Proactive, enthusiastic, flexible, and results-driven with a keen attention to detail
- Proficiency with monitoring tools such as Splunk, Introscope, Sitescope, Tivoli Netcool/WebGUI, and Catchpoint
- Experience with Java Virtual Machine, Unix/Linux OS, Windows, MQ, and OOS/Webmethods
- Experience in large IT production support environments
- Basic understanding or exposure to ITIL/ITSM frameworks
- Basic skills in Dynatrace and Splunk Engineering are a plus
