DA JIAFU SERVICES (PTE. LTD.) is a leading carpentry company specializing in bespoke carpentry furniture for residential and commercial spaces. We pride ourselves on our craftsmanship, quality, and dedication to customer satisfaction. We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Project Manager to join our team and oversee our carpentry projects from inception to completion. Our company is looking for a Project Manager who will be responsible for planning, executing, and closing projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires excellent organizational skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to lead and motivate a team of carpenters and subcontractors. The Project Manager will handle projects assigned by the company, ensuring they meet customer expectations, managing various teams of carpenters, and resolving any issues that arise during the project.
Specific Responsibilities
Individual to be involved in:
- Coordinate and oversee construction projects from conception to completion
- Review project plans and specifications to ensure compliance with building codes and regulations
- Develop project schedules, timelines, and budgets
- Communicate with contractors, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure project success
- Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary to ensure timely completion
- Prepare and submit project status reports to management and other stakeholders
- Resolve any project-related issues or conflicts that may arise
- Ensure project safety and compliance with environmental regulations
- Manage project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and other project-related materials
- Collaborate with other departments and teams to ensure project success
Technical Skills and Competencies
- Knowledge of the different types of wood, carpentry materials, and their properties and also familiar with carpentry techniques, tools, and construction methods.
- Use the current softwares (coohome, auto cad and sketch used by our company).
- Communicate effectively with clients, team members, and subcontractors and proficiency in creating detailed reports, project documentation, and correspondence.
- Coordinate and lead project teams, ensuring everyone is aligned with project goals and skills in mediating conflicts and maintaining a positive work environment.
- Handle customer's concern and feedback to improve on the service quality
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations and the ability to implement safety protocols on-site
- Analyze project data and make informed decisions to improve project outcomes and strong problem solving skills
