Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Project Management:Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of large-scale, high-impact projects.
Define project scope, objectives, and success criteria in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and budget management.
- Leadership and Team Management:Lead, mentor, and guide project teams, ensuring clear communication of project goals and responsibilities.
Foster a collaborative environment, encouraging team members to contribute to project success.
Provide coaching and development opportunities for junior project managers and team members.
- Stakeholder Engagement:Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring alignment with project objectives.
Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders, executives, and project sponsors.
Manage stakeholder expectations and facilitate effective decision-making processes.
- Risk and Issue Management:Proactively identify project risks and develop risk mitigation strategies.
Resolve issues that arise during the project lifecycle, ensuring minimal impact on project objectives.
Implement contingency plans to address potential project challenges.
- Financial Management:Manage project budgets, including forecasting, monitoring, and reporting on financial performance.
Ensure projects are delivered within budget, while achieving the desired outcomes.
Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
- Quality Assurance and Continuous Improvement:Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and client expectations.
Conduct post-project evaluations to identify lessons learned and areas for improvement.
Implement best practices and process improvements across the project management function.
- Change Management:Lead change management efforts to ensure successful adoption of project outcomes.
Develop and execute communication and training plans to support organizational change.
Monitor and report on the impact of change initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Education:Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
Master’s degree or MBA preferred.
PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent project management certification required.
- Experience:7-10 years of experience in project management, with at least 3 years in a senior project management role.
Proven experience in managing large, complex projects with multiple stakeholders.
Experience in leading cross-functional teams and managing external vendors.
