Teacher Assistant @ Yishun Ave 11
Contract Period: From 1 Jan 2025 to 31 Dec 2025
Option to Extend: For a further period of 2 years - 1 Jan 2026 to 31 Dec 2027 (at the company's discretion)
Personnel to be deployed at the following hours:
· Mondays to Fridays: 7.30am to 4.30pm, inclusive of 1 hour lunch break
· Service not required on Saturdays, Sundays and gazetted public holidays
The Personnel shall be competent to perform the following:
- Candidate is required to work in a primary school setting
- Provide support to teachers in preparation of teaching and learning resources
- Provide support to teachers in implementing interventions for students with learning & special needs, behavioral and attendance concerns
- Assist teachers in classroom management to provide conducive learning environment
- Assist in inventory management such as stock-take and packing of resources
- Assist in school programmes and events including learning journeys
- Assist in administrative matters such as collection of data or any other duties required by supervisor
- Assist in general office’s frontdesk duties such as managing students’ and parents’ queries by providing necessary assistance and attending to phone calls
- Participate in school-related activities or events
- Candidate needs to treat students in a respectful, responsible and fair manner with due consideration to the students’ physical, social and psychological development
The Personnel shall minimally have the following qualifications, skills and experience:
· Secondary school education qualification
· Proficient in Microsoft Office
· Proficient in written and spoken English
· Team-player
· 3 years of similar working experience in a primary school
