Job Description
This position will involve various projects that aim to address infectious diseases (e.g. COVID-19, antimicrobial resistance) through optimizing drug combinations. Specifically, a suite of AI-derived platforms will be harnessed to rapidly design and pinpoint clinically actionable drug combinations against different disease indications. These projects will involve collaborations with a diverse group of scientists and clinicians from different institutes on and off campus.
Qualifications
- Possess a Science or engineering background with knowledge/interests in life sciences.
- Has proficiency in regression models.
- Coding languages: Python and MATLAB.
- Ability to interpret and analyse data with relevant statistical analysis.
- Ability to work with a diverse group of collaborators (e.g. clinicians, scientists, infectious diseases experts).
- Strong written and spoken communication.
- Open to fixed term contract.
