Associate Sales & Development Director

Key Responsibilities:


Event Planning and Coordination:

· Plan, organize, and execute corporate events, including conferences, seminars, trade shows, product launches, and other business-related events.

· Develop event concepts, themes, and schedules to meet client objectives and align with the company’s goals.

· Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and venues to ensure all event logistics are handled efficiently.

· Manage event budgets, negotiate contracts, and ensure cost-effective solutions without compromising quality.

· Oversee event setup, execution, and breakdown, ensuring all aspects run smoothly and on schedule.


Sales and Business Development:

· Identify and pursue new business opportunities to generate sales and revenue growth.

· Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored event solutions.

· Develop and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals to potential clients.

· Negotiate and close sales deals, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements.

· Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth and innovation.


Client Relationship Management:

· Conduct initial consultations with clients to understand their event goals, objectives, and requirements.

· Provide expert advice and recommendations to clients on event planning and execution.

· Ensure clear and consistent communication with clients throughout the event planning process.

· Address and resolve any client concerns or issues promptly and professionally.

· Conduct post-event debriefs with clients to gather feedback and assess the event’s success.

· Maintain detailed records of client interactions and event outcomes for future reference.


Team Leadership and Collaboration:

· Recruit, train, and manage a team of event coordinators and sales professionals.

· Assign tasks and responsibilities to team members, ensuring efficient workflow and accountability.

· Provide ongoing coaching and support to team members, helping them develop their skills and achieve their goals.

· Foster a positive and collaborative team environment, encouraging open communication and creative problem-solving.

· Coordinate with internal departments, such as marketing, finance, and operations, to ensure seamless event execution and client satisfaction.

· Lead regular team meetings to discuss event progress, address challenges, and celebrate successes.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Event Management, or a related field.
  • 5 years of experience in corporate event planning and sales, preferably in a similar industry.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing and executing large-scale events.
  • Strong sales and negotiation skills with the ability to close deals and achieve revenue targets.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and vendors.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required.
