Job Summary
We are looking for a Data Scientist with expertise in Natural Language Processing to work on developing proof of concepts and implement NLP solutions.
Responsibilities
- Develop machine learning models and algorithms to solve complex business problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and define project goals and objectives.
- Conduct exploratory data analysis to gain insights into patterns and trends in the data.
- Evaluate and optimize model performance through rigorous testing and validation.
- Communicate findings and insights to technical and non-technical stakeholders through clear and concise presentations and reports.
Requirements
- Minimally 3 years of experience in data science with a focus on NLP. Demonstrated experience in developing and delivering PoCs or prototypes for NLP solutions.
- Proficiency in NLP libraries and frameworks (e.g., SpaCy, NLTK, Hugging Face Transformers). Strong programming skills in Python.
- Experience with advanced NLP models and techniques, such as BERT, GPT, or T5.
- Knowledge of containerization tools (e.g., Docker) and orchestration platforms (e.g., Kubernetes)
- Experience with Azure and/or AWS services, particularly those related to NLP and machine learning (e.g., Azure Cognitive Services, AWS SageMaker).
- Proven ability to develop, implement, and showcase PoCs, including designing experiments, prototyping, and demonstrating value to stakeholders.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable insights.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with both technical and functional stakeholders.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, or a related field. Advanced degree (Master’s or PhD) is a plus.
