Job Title: Senior Executive – Pricing and Budgeting (Asia Pacific Trade)
Job Scope and Duties:
1. Negotiation on the freight rates with carriers/ feeders for SOC & COC rate.
2. Assisting superior on procurement matters which includes rate filing.
3. Work on costs to provide sharp rates with profit guidelines.
4. Knowledge and ability to handle pricing for all projects, including Spot requests and Tender RFQs generated by sale teams across Asia-Pacific (APAC).
5. Working on Pricing and Budgeting for Vasco Liners.
6. Formulating Intra Asia Budget.
7. Assist Trade Manager in overall commercial activities of your assigned service.
8. Any other duties as assigned by your supervisors.
Working Hours:
5-day work week, 9am to 6pm.
Location:
1 Maritime Square, Harbourfront Centre.
Education Requirements
Degree/Diploma or relevant experience.
Language Requirements
English – Fluent (required)
Mandarin – To liase with our mandarin-speaking counterparts.
Background And Experience
Minimum 2 - 4 years relevant experience preferably within a Liner / NVOCC environment.
Knowledge of pricing, revenue management.
Knowledge of budgeting, revenue / volume reporting.
Competencies And Skills
Time management and organisational skills.
Analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills when under pressure and tight work deadlines.
Good at MS Excel / reporting tools.
