Job Summary:
We are currently looking for associates between 1 – 2 years PQE currently working or with an interest in disputes.
You will be responsible in helping provide legal services on a range of matters, including dispute resolution, arbitration, and general advisory. You should be able to work independently, manage multiple tasks efficiently and have a strong grasp of law in multiple areas. You may also be occasionally asked to handle administrative tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting in case preparation, legal research and documentary drafting
- Attending client meetings and court proceedings
- Contributing to case strategy and providing legal advice as necessary
- Corresponding with clients, court and other counsel on case matters
- Collaborating with a Senior Counsel and his team of lawyers and support staff
Key Skills and Experience:
- Singapore-qualified lawyer between 1 to 2 PQE
- Strong grounding in both legal knowledge and skills
- Able to work well both in a team and independently
- An appreciation for practical considerations outside of the law
- Possesses initiative, drive and is proactive in work
- Good communication skills
