Job Description:
As a Backend Software Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the server-side logic and databases for our applications. You will be involved our in-house administration dashboard development. Work closely with designer, front-end developers and product managers to deliver high-quality software solutions.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Design and Development: Translate requirements and designs into functional sites. Analyse, design, development, documentation and integration of software solutions include Web application (Inhouse administration dashboard) development. Web, APP application back-end development and maintain scalable and efficient services.
- API Development: Design and implement RESTful and/or gRPC APIs to support front-end functionality and third-party integrations.
- Database Management: Design and optimize database schemas, write complex queries, and ensure data integrity and performance using [database technologies, e.g. MySQL, Redis, Clickhouse etc.].
- Code Quality: Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
- Security: Implement and maintain security best practices to protect data and applications from vulnerabilities and threats.
- Maintenance：Maintain and enhancement of existing backend services.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science / information technology, Engineering (Computer / Telecommunication) or equivalent.
- Experience: At least 5 years of relevant experience. Entry levels are welcome to apply.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in programming languages (e.g. Golang, Vue.js, JavaScript etc.)
- Strong knowledge of database systems and data modelling, MySQL, Redis, Clickhouse etc.
- Understanding of containerization and orchestration tools, such as Docker is a plus.
- Familiar with API design and development (e.g. RESTful).
- Understand of gRPC protocols and API development.
- Soft Skills:
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Self-motivated and results-oriented team player with initiative.
