Production Administrative Assistant - Publishing
Job Description:
The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting the production and editorial team in all pre-press and post-press processes. You must have an eye for detail and some understanding of typography, design principles, and other related concepts. Attention to detail, time management, and the ability to multitask are essential for this role. This role will involve providing administrative support, managing team tasks, and ensuring efficient production processes.
Job Duties:
• All administrative duties, from data entry to pre-press checking
• Working with editorial and production teams to review drafts for accuracy, format, and style prior to publication
• Communicate with editorial and production teams about any changes that need to be made to ensure requirements are met
Requirements:
• Has good Chinese and English communication and writing skills
• Creative, meticulous, patient and careful
• Some experience and knowledge with Adobe InDesign and/or Creative Suite
• You are a good multi-tasker, able to work under pressure and tight deadlines
• You pay strong attention to detail and is a strong team player
• You possess strong planning and organisational skills with the ability to set targets, prioritise effectively and productively
• Willing to learn new skills.
