Job Description
- Develop and execute a comprehensive M&A strategy aligned with the company's long-term growth objectives.
- Identify, evaluate, and prioritize acquisition, investment, and divestment opportunities globally.
- Conduct thorough due diligence, financial modeling, and valuation analysis to assess the strategic and financial merits of potential targets.
- Lead complex negotiations and manage the end-to-end M&A process, including deal structuring, legal, and financial aspects.
- Develop and implement robust integration plans to maximize the value of acquired businesses and achieve synergy targets.
- Monitor post-acquisition performance, conduct ROI analysis, and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Build and lead a high-performing M&A team, fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including finance, legal, operations, and business development, to ensure successful deal execution.
The Successful Applicant
- Degree qualified with at least 7-10 years of experience in a similar role in M&A or Corporate Development team.
- Deep understanding of the logistics industry, market trends, and competitive landscape.
- Strong financial acumen, including experience in valuation, modeling, and due diligence.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and manage complex projects and teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
