We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to join a dynamic team in the manufacturing industry. The HRBP will serve as a strategic partner to business leaders, providing HR expertise and guidance to align people strategies with the overall business objectives. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of HR practices within the manufacturing sector, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic HR Partnership:Collaborate with senior management to understand business goals and objectives, and align HR strategies to support these goals.
    Provide guidance on organizational design, workforce planning, succession planning, and change management.
    Act as a trusted advisor on HR-related matters, including employee relations, talent management, and performance management.
  • Talent Management:Partner with hiring managers to identify staffing needs, develop job descriptions, and participate in the recruitment and selection process.
    Lead initiatives to attract, develop, and retain top talent within the manufacturing workforce.
    Implement effective onboarding programs and continuous development opportunities to ensure a highly skilled and engaged workforce.
  • Employee Relations and Engagement:Serve as the first point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns, ensuring prompt resolution of issues.
    Foster a positive work environment through effective communication, conflict resolution, and employee engagement programs.
    Conduct investigations and manage disciplinary actions in compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
  • Performance Management:Drive the performance management process, including goal setting, mid-year and year-end reviews, and employee development plans.
    Provide coaching and support to managers in addressing performance issues and developing improvement plans.
    Analyze performance data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Compliance and Policy Management:Ensure compliance with all local labor laws and regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.
    Regularly review and update HR policies to reflect changes in legislation and best practices in the manufacturing industry.
    Manage employee records and ensure confidentiality and data protection compliance.
  • Change Management and Organizational Development:Lead and support change management initiatives within the organization, particularly those related to process improvements and cultural shifts.
    Facilitate organizational development efforts, including team-building activities, leadership development programs, and diversity and inclusion initiatives.
  • HR Metrics and Reporting:Track and analyze HR metrics to assess the effectiveness of HR programs and initiatives.
    Provide regular reports to senior management on key HR indicators such as turnover rates, employee satisfaction, and training effectiveness.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of HR experience, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
  • Proven experience as an HR Business Partner or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Human Resources or a related field.
  • HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR).
  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Familiarity with labor union relations and collective bargaining agreements.

Salary up to $7.5k monthly.
