Job Description & Requirements
More than 5 years’ experience in network administration with indepth hands-on in Cisco routers/switches/Nexus/Meraki/Checkpoint/Palo Alto/Cisco ASA/Clearpass/F5 Load Balancer/Aruba.
In-depth knowledge of networking technologies, protocols and tools such as MPLS, IPv6, Multicast, L3VPN, Routing protocols (BGP, OSPF) and DNS.
CCNP certification is a must. Strong communication skills in English.
Excellent problem solving skills.
- Provide technical support, propose solutions and project related queries for all Wired, Wireless network.
- Perform analysis, Plan, Coordinate and Implement all change requests on existing network equipment.
- Perform analysis, Plan and Coordinate change requests for NEW network equipment between vendors, service providers and respective ITD teams.
- Support and provide evidences/information, assess, plan and remediate all audit findings/observations/improvements reported by internal/external audit exercises within the required timelines.
- Pro-actively monitor the bandwidth utilization/thresholds for all network equipment.
- Support and administer the daily operation of the firewalls and connection to internal, internet and external connections, review the firewall rules and intruder prevent systems logs daily.
- Maintain and update the documentation for wired and wireless network.
- Maintain updated vendor list contacts and escalation matrix for the hardware/software maintenance for the network equipment.
- Maintain records of system details (e.g. configuration, changes, problems, disaster recovery document) for network equipment.
- Escort and supervise third party contractors on all onsite works carried out at Data Centre, network center and remote sites.
- Network cabling and wireless access points trouble shooting and liaise with maintenance contractor on follow-up rectification works during office/after office hours on-site as required.
- To provide technical onsite support for BCP/DR exercises/activities that include device, link and user failover testing.
- Manage all the WAN connectivity’s/Wireless service (local and overseas) and ensure SLA are met by the service provider.
- Manage ClearPass System for daily operations and staging.
- Manage firewalls like Fortigate, Checkpoint, Cisco FTD, Palo Alto, Panorama; Cisco IOS and NEXUS switches; F5 Load balancer;
- Manage Network devices deployed in AWS Cloud.
