Contract Duration:
- Period: 16 September 2024 – 15 September 2025
Working Hours:
- Mondays to Thursdays: 7:00 am to 4:30 pm (inclusive of a 1-hour lunch break)
- Fridays: 7:00 am to 4:00 pm (inclusive of a 1-hour lunch break)
- Service is not required on Saturdays, Sundays, and gazetted public holidays.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Teaching and Learning:
- Implement and deliver a broad-based, balanced, relevant, and differentiated EdTech curriculum for students from Primary 1 to 6.
- Monitor and support students' overall progress and development in EdTech.
- Facilitate learning experiences that allow students to achieve their individual potential, including preparing them for and sending them to competitions.
- Align teaching with the school's vision of providing holistic development opportunities for students.
2. Planning and Development:
- Assist in developing schemes of work and teaching resources that align with the identified EdTech and Maker activities syllabuses.
- Contribute to the ICT Department's development plan and ensure its successful implementation.
- Ensure that all department practices adhere to Health and Safety regulations.
- Collaborate in the development of a school-based EdTech curriculum that meets the needs of students and aligns with the Authority’s ethos.
- Work closely with the ICT technical team to ensure that ICT equipment is maintained and suitable for teaching and learning purposes.
3. General Duties:
- Provide support for EdTech-related teaching, learning matters, and students as required.
- Stay updated on the latest EdTech and ICT skills necessary for effective role execution.
- Support the ICT team in operational matters as needed.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Full awareness of current EdTech developments in schools.
- Proficient in using various EdTech tools and platforms.
- Basic knowledge of software programming.

Qualifications and Experience:
- Diploma, preferably in an Information Technology-related discipline.
- Minimum of 2 years of working experience as an ICT trainer.
