Job Overview:
We are seeking a creative and skilled Hairstylist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hairdressing, a keen eye for detail, and a dedication to providing excellent customer service. As a Hairstylist, you will be responsible for delivering a wide range of hair care services, including cutting, coloring, styling, and treating hair, while ensuring that each client leaves the salon feeling satisfied and confident.
Key Responsibilities:
- Hair Cutting and Styling:Provide high-quality haircuts, trims, and styles for clients of all ages and genders.
Keep up with the latest trends in hairstyling and suggest styles to clients based on their preferences and facial structure.
Perform blow-drying, curling, straightening, and other styling techniques.
- Hair Coloring:Apply a variety of hair coloring techniques, including highlights, balayage, ombre, and full-color treatments.
Offer expert advice on color choices and maintenance.
Ensure proper mixing and application of hair color products.
- Hair Treatments:Recommend and apply hair treatments such as deep conditioning, keratin treatments, and scalp treatments.
Understand and address specific hair and scalp issues.
- Client Consultation:Conduct thorough consultations with clients to understand their needs and preferences.
Provide professional advice on hair care, products, and maintenance.
Maintain strong relationships with clients to encourage repeat business.
- Salon Maintenance:Keep your workstation and tools clean, organized, and sanitized.
Assist in maintaining the overall cleanliness and safety of the salon.
Keep inventory of hair care products and tools, and inform management of low stock.
- Professional Development:Stay updated on industry trends, new products, and techniques.
Attend training sessions and workshops as required.
Qualifications:
- Education & Licensing:High school diploma or equivalent.
Valid cosmetology license [State/Region Specific].
- Experience:Proven experience as a Hairstylist.
Portfolio of previous work is highly desirable.
- Skills:Proficient in hair cutting, coloring, styling, and treatments.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple clients.
