As a Business Development Assistant Manager, you will be tasked with developing and implementing effective sales strategies to acquire new customers and expand the company’s distribution reach and channels. Your role will involve presenting and marketing products to current accounts, monitoring sales team performance, and ensuring monthly sales budgets for all brands are met.
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to acquire new customers and businesses, and expand the Company’s distribution reach and channels.
- Monitor team members’ sales results and ensure monthly sales budgets for all brands are met.
- Prepare action plans and schedules to identify specific sales targets and forecast activities.
- Project the number of contacts to be made by the sales team.
- Engage in market research to develop new accounts with potential customers.
- Follow up on new leads and referrals from field visits.
- Identify sales prospects and prepare presentations and proposals.
- Establish and maintain current and potential client relationships.
- Communicate new product information, special developments, and feedback from field visits to company staff.
- Coordinate with company staff to accomplish the work required to close sales.
- Implement salon sales activities to increase sales and reduce stock.
- Assist in marketing events, seminars, trade shows, and educational activities.
- Provide on-the-job training to new sales employees, and ongoing coaching and sales training to the sales team.
- Follow up on and collect payments.
Requirements:
- Degree or Diploma in business related fields
- Minimum 4 years in Sales / Business Development
- Experience and contacts in hair care industry are highly advantageous
- Excellent in communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills
- Result oriented and proactive in achieving sales targets
- Aggressive and strong sales acumen
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and drive business decisions
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

- 5 days’ work week, Mon to Fri, 9.00am to 6.00pm
