Job Description
- Preparing the operating theatre and patient for anaesthesia pre-operatively
- Checking of anaesthesia machine and supplies
- Assist Anaesthetist pre, intra and post-operatively
- Admission of patient pre-operatively and recovering of patients post-operatively
- Providing continuous professional nursing care to patients
- Proper documentation of patient care
- Assist to order and maintain inventories
- To circulate in OT when required
- 5.5 work week
- Work hours may vary according to Centre’s need (0700hrs to 1600hrs / 0730hrs to 1630hrs / 0800 to 1700hrs / 0830 to 1730hrs or 0900hrs to 1800hrs)
Job Requirement
- Diploma in nursing and above
- Registered with Singapore Nursing Board as a Registered Nurse
- BCLS Certified
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Good knowledge of anaesthesia drugs, intra-operative vital signs monitoring, post anaesthesia recovery
- Good communication, interpersonal and critical thinking skills
- Preferably a minimal 2 years of experience in tertiary hospital as an anaesthesia nurse
- Advanced diploma in Perianaesthesia will be a plus
