Job Description
- Manage and process charter hire payments accurately and promptly.
- Ensure timely invoicing of expenses to owners and sub-charterers.
- Conduct monthly financial analysis of owner accounts and recoveries.
- Maintain accurate accounting records for all liabilities, expenses, and payments related to owners.
- Collaborate with relevant departments to resolve owner disputes.
- Monitor and follow up on payments from and to owners and sub-charterers.
- Close owner accounts promptly and accurately.
- Adhere to internal financial guidelines and deadlines.
- Prepare necessary schedules for audits and address audit findings.
- Support ad-hoc financial projects as needed.
The Successful Applicant
- Diploma in Accounting/Finance, or equivalent with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Self-motivated and able to work in a fast-paced environment
