Are you an experienced logistics professional with a passion for ensuring smooth operations and timely deliveries? We are looking for a dedicated Shipping and Logistics Coordinator to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing shipping processes, coordinating documentation, and driving continuous improvements in our logistics operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Shipping and Logistics Management:
- Facilitate the seamless shipping of products to various destinations, ensuring timely transportation and delivery from suppliers to meet customer demands.
- Oversee the entire order fulfillment and transportation cycle, adhering to strict deadlines.
Documentation and Administration:
- Coordinate documentation with suppliers for the shipment of goods to customers, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Support global purchases of goods and services for our customers, handling the complete purchasing documentation process.
- Prepare all shipping documents for import shipments and manage bank documents such as Letters of Credit.
- Conduct administrative tasks, including data entry, processing information, and maintaining organized filing systems.
- Address feedback and complaints from customers and suppliers, ensuring a high level of service.
Continuous Improvement Initiatives:
- Review freight costs, transportation rates, and other logistics-related expenses to identify cost optimization opportunities.
- Monitor supplier performance and support improvement initiatives to enhance service quality.
- Drive continuous process improvements, such as streamlining documentation processes to enhance efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Minimum diploma in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field from a recognized institution.
- At least 7 years of relevant experience in logistics and shipping, preferably in the trading industry.
Skills and Experience:
- Hands-on experience in preparing and managing Letters of Credit and related documentation is essential.
- Strong technical knowledge of the logistics and shipping industry.
- Excellent coordination skills, with a meticulous and proactive approach to work.
- A positive, adaptable, and flexible mindset with a strong eagerness to learn.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Mandarin is required to liaise effectively with our team in China.
- Highly proficient in desktop technologies (e.g., MS Office Suite) and ERP systems (e.g., Oracle).
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, time-critical environment and embrace technological advancements.
