The Opportunity
In this role you will assist Senior Sales Executive and cover Sales Support role to maintain a high level of engagement with customers, work closely with Sales Team, Finance Team (receipt of payments) and Warehouse Team. You will also coordinate and oversees end-to-end logistics operations and all shipping-related matter and communicate with overseas agent
- Getting rates / quotes from existing agents to quote customers.
- Negotiate, compare and prepare quotations for potential customers. Cover sales support when needed
- Explore improvement in existing process
- Verification of freight invoices, submission of payment
- Improve and do up SOP for existing operations
- Perform other ad-hoc tasks or projects assigned by immediate supervisor / manager.
What you’ll need to succeed
- Experience in Freight Operations
- Well versed with Incoterms
- Knowledge in Batam, Indonesia feeder trade is a plus.
- Knowledge of Cargowise is a plus
- Experienced in shipping quotations and liaising with overseas agent
