Technical Design Manager
We are seeking a high calibre professional with experience in leading design activities to ensure requirements, objectives and targets of the contracts are fulfilled timely and within budget.
· You will be in charge of the technical design department.
· You shall make technical decisions in relation to product design, construction execution and commissioning, while maintaining compliance with existing code of practice and safety standards.
· You shall follow through on the design development from conceptualisation to development to construction to commissioning consistent with achieving the design intent
· You shall plan and control design activities to ensure procurement, construction and commissioning activities can proceed unhindered.
· You shall assist the site team in the resolution of site clashes, attend and review mock ups to ensure implementation and compliance with approved design intent and direction.
Requirements
· Candidates must possess Degree in ME or related field
· Candidate should possess minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the crane industry
· Fluent with 2D/3D/FEA software for drawings such as AutoCAD/Solidworks/Krasta
· Familiar with standards and codes of practice relating to design
· Candidate should possess good organization, communication, coordination and leadership skills
· Product training will be provided
