2 Clerical Support Staff

This advertisement is for the recruiting 2 positions of Clerical Support Staff.

If successfully selected, you will be seconded to a MOE primary school located in Tampine St 21.

Contract Period: From 1 Jan 2025 to 31 Dec 2025.

Option to Extend: for a further period of 1 Jan 2026 to 31 Dec 2026.

Personnel to be deployed at the following hours subject to school’s need:

Personnel A

  • Mondays to Fridays: 6:45am to 12:45pm, inclusive of 30 min lunch break (Morning Shift)
  • Service not required on Saturdays, Sundays and gazetted public holidays

Personnel B

  • Mondays to Fridays: 11:30am to 5:30pm, inclusive of 30 min lunch break (Afternoon Shift)
  • Service not required on Saturdays, Sundays and gazetted public holidays

The Services required are set out as follows:

Reception

  • Handles the telephone calls, to pick up within 3 rings
  • Manages the frontline counter duty, attending to all students, parents and walk-in visitors queries
  • Attends to goods delivery on behalf of staff
  • Attends to students leaving school early/injured students/admission to Sick Bay
  • Recording temperatures for all staff in the morning

General Admin

  • Oversees the general housekeeping of the General Office (i.e reception area, conference room, sick-bay and pantry-assisted by Operations support officer)
  • To assist in printing of worksheets/exam paper for the school
  • Arrange for temporary storage of received items in the General Office where necessary and inform relevant staff
  • Assist with lost & found items
  • Provides admin support to School Leaders and teachers
  • Assist in admin duties such as data entry, attendance system of the staff and SC Mobile etc
  • Assists the Admin Managers in administrative tasks, for instance, class allocations, P1 registration & orientation etc
  • Any other duties assigned by School Leaders/AMs

The two (2) personnel shall minimally have the following qualifications, experience and skills:

  • At least three (3) years of similar working experience in receptionist and administrative functions.
  • To have preferably worked in the MOE Primary School’s environment in the last 3 years
  • To be preferably first-aid trained
