Job Description

For Price Forbes Companies situated within the Asia-Pacific, you are required to provide support to the Technical Admin Team as required on the following: -

  1. (Re)insurance New & Renewal Business and Endorsement Processing for all lines of business (Facultative, Specialty, A&H, Marine, Special Risks and Trade Credit risk).
  2. Carry out Broking File Reviews
  3. Handle Broking System Billings (i.e. Debit/Credit Notes and Premium Closings.)
  4. Preparation of all (re)insurance related technical documentation, ensuring completeness and accuracy – Evidence of Covers (EOCs), Cover Notes & Addenda.
  5. Brokers liaison
  6. Processing enquiries handling
  7. Technical Filing and Documentation

Job Requirements

  • Responsible for (Re)insurance New & Renewal Business and Endorsement processing as assigned.
  • Review and verify placement documents and ensure accuracy against all correspondence.
  • Ensure the insurers and reinsurers are in the approved security listings.
  • Ensure completeness of checklists and accounting form (i.e. compute premium payable, warranty/instalments due date etc.)
  • Ensure accurate data setup at the broking system for the issuance of Debit/Credit Notes and Premium Closings.
  • Ensure timely and accurate issuance of the (re)insurance related technical documentation, meeting service standards and document turnaround time.
  • Brokers liaison and work closely with Finance department in resolving any technical queries.
  • Update of production and tracking spreadsheets.
  • Ensure accuracy of clients’ & market information
  • Ensure Contract Certainty requirement.
  • Support annual audit and E&O review as a team.
  • To handle technical filing and documentation, including annual files archive. Ensuring documents are saved and files are passed on to the others in accordance with Company Rules and Procedures.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned.

Representing Price Forbes

  • Champion the PF name and core values.
  • Represent PF with clients, agents, suppliers and other organisations.

Compliance

  • Comply with relevant legal, regulatory and compliance requirements, E&O compliance procedures and quality initiatives.
  • Escalation of any potential E&O's to Division Head / Directors at the earliest opportunity.
  • Ensure completion of all mandatory Company training and to deadline.

Knowledge Required

  • Detailed understanding and knowledge of Insurance & Reinsurance and relevant legal principles.
  • Detailed understanding of the Company’s internal procedures and practices.

Requirements / Skills Required

  • Minimum Diploma holder
  • No prior experience required but relevant experience is a good advantage
  • Collaborative team working approach.
  • Ability to prioritise and organise own workload.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Ability to work with employees at all organisational levels.
  • Accurate and attentive to detail.
  • Good written and verbal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (Outlook, Excel, Word) and Adobe.
