Workforce Singapore is seeking a meticulous individual with good communication and interpersonal skills to join our team as a Manager, Research and Engagement. You will be supporting our research team to conduct desktop research, assist in engaging stakeholders and oversee efforts to engage stakeholders effectively, and provide general administrative support to the division.
Responsibilities
As a Manager for Research and Engagement, you will:
•Assist in conducting desktop research on trends, technologies and developments related to the future of work and employment models and the role of intermediaries such as employment agencies.
•Conduct market research to identify potential partners and collaboration opportunities.
•Assist in engaging internal and external stakeholders for insights gathering, including coordinating meetings, pre-meeting preparations, post-meeting follow-ups, etc.
•Assist to prepare presentation and briefing materials to engage stakeholders effectively.
•Assist to analyse engagement efforts, identify areas of improvement and strategies to optimise engagement outcomes.
•Provide general administrative support to the division as needed.
Requirements
You should have the following work experience and knowledge:
•Relevant experience in areas such as horizon-scanning, business development, project management and planning
•Good understanding of Singapore's labour market, including the intermediaries and their role in matching supply and demand
•Proficient in using MS Office software especially Excel and PowerPoint
•Strong command of written and spoken English.
You should possess the following skill sets:
Communication: Capable of delivering clear and effective written and oral communication to effectively engage stakeholders. To also possess strong interpersonal skill to be able to engage diverse stakeholders across all levels.
Attention to Detail: Able to ensure accuracy in data management with a strong numerical sense, and attentiveness to details
Personal Effectiveness: Demonstrate capability in resourcefulness and problem solving
