Global Practice Lead – Talent Advisory

Role Summary

The Global Practice Lead – Talent Development will lead the global efforts to enhance our Service Offering in the Talent Development space. Offering a full suite of complementary services across Assessment, Selection, Coaching and Development, your remit will be to build out a sustainable practice focused not just on client engagement and delivery but also on growing out a team within each region who are set up to deliver the same level of quality delivery for their clients.

You will manage a blended delivery model utilising internal resources and external strategic partnerships as well as ensuring that we are working closely with our key stakeholders across the recruitment and outsourcing business arms to drive ongoing customer engagement. Utilising a well-established framework developed through our internal knowledge and content base, you will evolve the service offering whilst maintaining a commitment to quality and best-practice.

Key Responsibilities

VISION

  • Lead Talent Development Initiatives: Oversee the configuration and implementation of products within the talent development program. Working with team members and key stakeholders to ensure that we are continually responding to clients’ needs and requirements and developing offerings that align with their strategic objectives.
  • Client Engagement: Collaborate with clients to understand their talent needs and design customized solutions.
  • Client Relationship Building: Cultivate and maintain collaborative partnerships with clients to understand their unique needs and challenges."
  • Needs Assessment and Customization: Assess client requirements through in-depth consultations and customize talent development strategies accordingly.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Facilitate regular check-ins, progress updates, and feedback sessions with clients to ensure alignment.
  • Client Satisfaction: Measure client success by ongoing review through CSAT and building effective feedback models.
  • Thought Leadership: Stay informed about industry trends and best practices, sharing insights with clients.
  • Team Management: Supervise a team of consultants and provide guidance on talent development strategies.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Working alongside our colleagues from the Recruitment and Outsourcing businesses, you will identify growth opportunities and ensure that we are targeting the right markets to build a sustainable revenue pipeline.

UNDERSTANDING

  • Creating a consistent, shared understanding of who our customers are and what their needs, wants, perceptions and preferences are.
  • Define products and service offerings that align to our customers needs and objectives through both direct customer engagement and feedback and listening to our internal stakeholders in a structured engagement model.
  • Capture and champion customer stories that build a deep understanding of the value our Advisory business adds to the broader group and embeds our offering with all our stakeholders.

MEASURE

  • Set customer targets and establish lead management metrics to assess our success in conversions from proposals to project wins.
  • Define a customer feedback map and metrics that evaluates Talent Development in a consistent manner across the business.
  • Commit to a framework of effective data quality in order to ensure that we can create meaningful reporting across the Advisory practice to demonstrate our growth and also our improvement opportunities as the practice area evolves.
  • Create an assessment and feedback mechanism that allows us to assess the performance of both our internal service delivery teams as well as any external strategic partners to ensure that we are offering the highest levels of service excellence to our clients.

IMPROVE

  • Work to identify genuine Advisory (Talent Development) improvement and revenue generation opportunities across the business and develop business cases for execution as appropriate.
  • Ensure a focus on delivering a product offering that offers client engagement and development opportunities across both our Recruitment and Outsourcing business streams.
  • Ensuring customer data and feedback is acted upon to improve our service delivery.
  • Align with internal stakeholders and teams to deliver a consistent customer experience.

TEAM & GOVERNANCE

  • Define accountabilities and responsibilities to proactively ensure the effective delivery of Talent Development services across the business globally.
  • Develop a team of ‘informal champions’ across the business to ensure that there is a voice for Advisory to help us drive growth and new initiatives across the business through positive reinforcement and messaging.
  • Work with the Global Head of CX, Commercial & Advisory to ensure strategic goals for the Talent Development team are established and aligned with the broader business objectives.
  • Engage in broad internal stakeholder education and engagement to ensure that the Talent Development Service line and message is understood and disseminated effectively across the business.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum of 10 years experience within an HR Consulting environment is mandatory
  • Prior experience of building and delivering leadership assessment and coaching tools and programmes
  • Strong business development and presentation skills with a commercial mindset.
  • This is a global role so will require travel so this is a requirement the candidate does need to accomodate on
