Assistant Executive (HR & Admin)

Principal Accountabilities

  1. Handle the recruitment by preparing job descriptions, posting ads and managing the hiring process;
  2. Assist in performing human resource orientation program for new employees;
  3. Organizing the training and development programs for staff;
  4. Foster and sustain connections with external training providers and vendors;
  5. Keep abreast of the most recent advancements and techniques in education and growth;
  6. Manage the training budget and ensure cost-effective delivery of training programs.
  7. Develop career development plans for employees and provide guidance and support in achieving their goals.
  8. Assist in arranging the HR & Company welfare & wellness activities, events etc by developing project plans within the budget, coordinating resources, and ensuring successful execution of the events;
  9. Assist in the WICA claims reporting, including but not limited to streamlining the process, ensuring timeliness in the submission of work-injury cases and managing the enquiries;
  10. Assist in the employee relations, managing the relationship between employees and the organization;
  11. Liaise with government regulatory bodies, SNEF, MOM, union representatives on legal, human resource and compliance issues;
  12. Manage the office administrative function especially the Company printing material like calendars, diaries, red packets and etc;
  13. Assist in the HR Surveys;
  14. Assist the superior in ad hoc assignments

Job Specific Competencies

  1. Preferably Degree or higher qualification in HR;
  2. At least 3 years of experience in HR;
  3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skill, with the ability to build rapport and employees and stakeholders at all levels;
  4. Display robust project management abilities, with the ability to handle numerous projects simultaneously;
  5. Problem-solving and decision-making aptitude;
  6. Understanding of labor laws and disciplinary procedures;
  7. Knowledge of HR functions (recruitment, training & development etc);
  8. Strong ethics and reliability;
  9. Versatility and ability to adapt;
  10. Proficient in MS Office; knowledge of HRIS.
