The Company

Better Minds Pte Ltd is an education centre focused on developing and delivering applied-technology curricula to children aged 4-12. It started operations in Singapore in 2007 and since then, we have developed applied-technology curricula for children in both academic and non-academic settings. Our original curriculum development team comprised of educators, scientists, engineers and technology professionals, is passionate about teaching children’s technological concepts through hands-on activities. We operate seasonal camps, Workshop, in-class programs at schools and run special events, to educate thousands of children every year.

At Better Minds Worklab, we strive to provide both a fun and educational experience to children through hands-on activities during our holiday camps and weekly programs.

We are passionate with what we do and are looking for a like-minded individual to join us full-time for the Receptionist cum Administrator position.

Receptionist cum Administrator – Full Time (S$2300 – S$2600 per month, depending on experience)


Responsibilities

· Able to work on both Saturdays and Sundays with 2 off days during the week (though schedules may change during camp seasons) at both our Forum/Orchard and coronation Plaza/Bukit Timah/River Valley centres.

· Average working hours is 9am to 6pm (camp session is usually from 8am to 6pm). Required to work on Saturday and half day Sunday. Candidate will get days off during the weekdays.

· Attend to parent and enrolment enquiries regarding our weekly programs and holiday camps in a professional manner.

· Assist with registrations and fee collections.

· Update student records in our database.

· Attendance taking and supervising / minding children whenever necessary.

· Plan and coordinate with instructors on scheduling, manpower and enrolment issues.

· Provide support for instructors whenever necessary; also help with organizing teaching materials; as well as ordering of general office supplies.

· Any other ad-hoc duties as required.


Qualifications / Requirements

*Preferably min. 1 or 2 years work experience in a school or enrichment centre setting.

* Proficient in Microsoft Office.

* Cheerful and courteous, proactive, responsible, able to work independently and multi-task, organised and resourceful.

*Must be a good team player with great communication and interpersonal skills.

*Able to speak, read and write proficiently in English and Chinese (need to liaise with parents from PRC/China.

*Able to start work with short notices.
