Food Processing Technician

Position: Food Processing Technician


Employment Information:

  • Working hour: 44hr week, 1.5 off-days/week, annual leave 10 days.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate and monitor food processing equipment, such as mixers, udon and packaging machines, boilers to ensure the efficient and safe production of food products.
  • Set up and adjust machinery and equipment as needed for each production run, following established procedures and guidelines.
  • Monitor and control the temperature, pressure, and other variables during the food processing process to ensure product consistency and quality.
  • Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of machinery and equipment to identify and address any malfunctions or issues that may affect production.
  • Follow strict hygiene and safety protocols to prevent contamination and ensure compliance with food safety regulations.
  • Perform quality checks and inspections on raw materials, ingredients, and finished products to ensure they meet specifications and standards.
  • Collaborate with other team members, such as quality assurance personnel and production supervisors, to troubleshoot issues and improve production processes.
  • Keep detailed records of production activities, including machine settings, production volumes, and quality control measures, for reporting and analysis purposes. Follow established protocols for waste management, including the proper handling and disposal of waste materials generated during the production process.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to food processing to maintain knowledge and skills relevant to the role.

Required Skills and Abilities:

  • Minimum 1 year of experience.
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and quality control standards.
  • Attention to detail and ability to follow precise instructions and procedures.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills to identify and address issues promptly.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with other team members.
  • Understanding of food principles and processes.
