Job Ddescription:
- Assisting engineers in the opera on and maintenance of the ship's engines and machinery.
- Learning and familiarizing oneself with the various systems and equipment in the engine room.
- Performing routine maintenance tasks under the supervision of experienced engineers.
- Monitoring and recording engine performance data.
- Participating in drills and training exercises to enhance knowledge and skills.
- Following safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
Requirements:
- Valid medical certificate confirming fitness for duty at sea.
- Standards of Training, Certification, and Watchkeeping for Seafarers, including basic safety training and other relevant certifications.
- Prior experience or internships in marine engineering or related fields can be beneficial.
- Good physical condition to handle the demanding nature of the job, including lifting and working in confined spaces.
- Ability to work in various conditions and adapt to the demands of onboard life.
