HR Executive (6-Months Contract)

Job Responsibilities:

  • To be overall responsible for the day-to-day operations and administration of HR functions such as on-boarding, off-boarding, maintaining of employee pfile/e-pfile records, and ensure that all necessary documents are up-to-date, etc;
  • Perform monthly payroll processing for Singapore, Indonesia, South Korea, and Japan; including GL submission to Finance;
  • Submission of CPF contribution promptly, and administer resignees’ salaries, which include tax clearance for SPR/foreign employees;
  • Prepare IR8A and necessary appendices for submission to IRAS for the annual income tax submission for all employees;
  • Ensure prompt submission of government-paid leave claims, such as maternity leave claim, NS claim, childcare leave claim, paternity leave claim, etc.;
  • Provide administrative support for new joiners and resignees’ entry/exit (on-boarding and off-boarding);
  • Manage work passes/dependant passes application and renewal with proper documentation, as well as cancellation of work and related passes;
  • Updating of foreign employees’ details as and when required;
  • Manage foreign work passes and visa applications for countries such as Japan and Taiwan;
  • Conduct recruitment activities such as posting of job advertisements at various job portal platforms, as well as coordinating recruitment and selection during the hiring process;
  • Conduct recruitment activities for internships;
  • Prepare and draft employment letters for selected candidates and/or other relevant HR letters such as employment certification, long service award etc. (but not limited to) when required;
  • Administer benefits such as enrolling employees into local or global insurance;
  • Maintain HR software system; manage leave administration and work hours of employees via HR system;
  • Administer L&D, registration and submission of training grants to relevant statutory board;
  • Maintain and provide HR-related reports, such as manpower headcount report, work passes report, etc to the relevant departments
  • Submit manpower survey or relevant survey/report requested by MOM as and when needed;
  • To be the first point of contact for all employee’s enquiries;
  • To be overall responsible for the management of expatriates’ accommodation with the support from Field Service Admin Assistant;
  • Perform any other ad-hoc HR related duties as required.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree preferably in Human Resource Management or related field
  • Minimum 3 to 5 years of relevant HR experience preferably in construction or engineering sector
  • Some regional exposure dealing with different divisions/subsidiaries within the organisation is preferred
  • Good knowledge of Singapore Employment Act and sound understanding of HR best practises
  • Possess good interpersonal and effective communication skill. An excellent team play who can also work well independently with minimum supervision and results-oriented in a fast-paced environment
  • Pro-active personality and meticulous; able to handle data and ensure high level of accuracy for HR-related work; high integrity in handling confidential information
  • Good number sense
  • Good written and spoken English; additional language will be an added advantage
  • Good computer literacy skills with software like Microsoft and/or windows applications
