Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality, well-prepared, safe, and effective fitness classes in a variety of formats and training modalities
- Coach with clarity and possess strong communication skills
- Be motivating and able to get members hooked on your classes
- Have great stage presence
- Role model fitness and wellbeing
- Ensure the safety and enjoyment of participants
- Relate well to all types of people, creating strong rapport with clients, and showing the highest level of customer service
- Maintain safe, tidy gym environment at all times
- Take up ongoing training and development to maintain and expand your skillsets
- Work as part of a team, attend team meetings, be willing to take on additional paid covers and special event classes, and contribute to department initiatives and activities
Requirements
- Three years experience of teaching Group Fitness, or already teaching at an advanced level
- Appropriate and relevant certification to teach Group Fitness classes. Certificates should ideally include a minimum two Les Mills program certificates (with preferences for BODYPUMP, BODYBALANCE, BODYJAM, BODYCOMBAT, BODYATTACK, RPM, The Trip) Other practical certificates may include TRX, Pilates, Reformer, Zumba, Cycling, ViPR, Kettlebell…
- Experience should include teaching indoor Cycling
- Be fit and represent a healthy lifestyle
- Be creative and inspiring
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Be punctual, responsible and dependable
