Job Description:
- Implement and execute preventive and breakdown maintenance for electrical and instrumentation tasks with a strong emphasis on safety.
- Perform troubleshooting for electrical and instrumentation systems.
- Troubleshoot and work with AC low voltage single-phase and three-phase systems.
- Identify and maintain an optimal level of electrical spares and drives to minimize plant downtime. Backup drive parameters as needed.
- Ensure systematic documentation of maintenance procedures, risk assessments, Single Line Diagrams (SLD), and maintenance records for troubleshooting purposes.
- Experience with three-phase generator control interfacing to grid power.
- Liaise with Professional Engineers (PE) and organize preventive maintenance for Medium Voltage (MV) and High Voltage (22kV) systems.
- Understand and develop electrical panel schematics as required.
- Guide technicians on troubleshooting for ACMV, CCTV, access control systems, PA systems, power, and lighting.
- Update and control electrical specifications, procedures, and drawings. Manage material including consumables, parts, and spare units.
- Respond to breakdowns, diagnose faults, record, and report issues.
- Review and approve service, repair, and overhaul of equipment. Manage routine 5S at the maintenance workshop, store, and work areas.
- Communicate with clients, consultants, project personnel, and relevant authorities.
Job Requirements:
- Degree in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation, or Maintenance Engineering.
- At least 3 years of experience in electrical engineering within chemical, petrochemical, pharmaceutical, or power plant operations.
- Strong electrical knowledge with robust technical abilities.
- Results-oriented with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Possession of Licensed Electrical Worker (LEW) certification is an advantage.
- Knowledge of preventative maintenance systems and their administration.
- Familiarity with maintenance and asset management is an advantage.
