Position Overview:

Our client is looking for a seasoned professional to fill the role of Assistant Vice President, Identity and Access Management Systems. This role is integral to their expanding regional IT team responsible for development and support across the APAC region. The main focus will be on managing and evolving the organization’s Identity and Access Management System (IAMS) to fulfill business and compliance requirements.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Technical Leadership: Act as a technical authority, collaborating with clients, analysts, programmers, and team members to develop and enhance IAMS solutions.
  • Innovation and Improvement: Explore new technologies and alternatives, presenting them for architectural review to drive ongoing improvement.
  • Stakeholder Coordination: Engage with various stakeholders and leverage relevant security technologies to propose and design IAM solutions that effectively monitor and report IAM-related data across multiple governance agencies.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, Security and Compliance teams, application developers, and other administrators to design, implement, and maintain scalable and secure identity management solutions.
  • Risk and Compliance Management: Show deep understanding of risk management, security policies, user account life-cycle management, role-based access, and related IAM principles.
  • Client Engagement: Collaborate with client business teams and application onboarding groups to understand the impact on existing identity and access workflows.
  • Solution Assessment: Evaluate and recommend industry solutions that meet current and future requirements, ensuring they are scalable, robust, user-friendly, and cost-effective.
  • Architectural Design: Lead the creation of detailed architectural designs, ensuring solutions are robust, cost-effective, and meet all requirements without impacting dependent applications.
  • High Availability and Disaster Recovery: Design high availability and disaster recovery plans for IAMS.
  • Data Design and Migration: Develop data flow diagrams and use case diagrams, perform impact analysis for data migration, and identify solutions for new systems.
  • Custom Development: Create custom connectors for REST/SOAP APIs.
  • Deployment Planning: Prepare comprehensive deployment plans and go-live strategies, coordinating with all relevant teams and managing impacts on source and target applications.
  • Change Management: Work with the Change Management team to implement change requests.
  • Post-Implementation Review: Conduct periodic reviews of system processes and results, providing regular updates and status reports to stakeholders.
  • Program Oversight: Offer regular status updates and lead the program technically, overseeing the team’s activities and ensuring successful implementation and delivery.
  • Technical Specifications: Define technical requirements for data integrity, privacy, and security of directory services, and develop guidelines for integration, administration, and maintenance.
  • System Maintenance: Handle system patching and upgrades for IAMS.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: At least 8 years in the Identity and Access Management field, including a minimum of 3 years in technical development, support, and maintenance of Identity Governance tools.
  • Tool Proficiency: Experience with major identity governance tools such as Oracle IM/Oracle IG, SailPoint, Saviynt, and One Identity.
  • Development Skills: Hands-on experience with workflow development, data integration/transformations, and custom tasks using Oracle Identity Manager (OIM), including SOA approval workflows, event handlers, ADF UI customization, and Segregation of Duties configuration in OIM 11gR2/12C.
